2011 FORD TRANSIT CONNECT Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2011 Ford Transit Connect has two recalls, both involving windshield wipers that can detach from the vehicle, leaving the driver with no wipers on one or both sides of the windshield during rain or reduced visibility conditions. In both cases, a wiper arm connection point can work loose over time, causing uneven or noisy wiping before the arm eventually separates entirely. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why two separate campaigns exist for the same underlying problem.
