2022 GMC SIERRA 1500 Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 has two recalls, both posing road hazard risks: a non-functioning brake light and a front grille deflector that can detach and fall onto the road. On vehicles equipped with an accessory sport bar, the bar's built-in high-mounted brake light may not work, and the bar itself can block the factory brake light behind it, leaving following drivers with reduced warning when braking. On vehicles with chrome front grille deflectors, the clips holding them in place can fracture, allowing the deflector to drop off and become a hazard for other vehicles.
