Defect
On certain trucks, if diesel fuel or lubrication oil causes the crankcase to become overfull fluid can be ingested through the crankcase depression regulator valve to the intake system increasing engine speed. This could result in vehicle crash without prior warning. Also, the governor lionkage lock may loosen and prevent the engine from being turned off. If the lock separates from the linkage, other governor components could be damaged which could result in loss of throttle control with the possibility of vehicle crash without prior warning.
