The 2022 Honda Accord has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the passenger seat occupant sensor and the braking system, both of which can raise the risk of a crash or injury.
The occupant classification sensor for the front passenger seat can misread the seat's occupant, causing the airbag to deploy unexpectedly in a crash. On the brake side, a ball valve in the stability control modulator can leak brake fluid, which may cause the car to roll when the brake hold feature is engaged or cause the brake pedal to travel farther than expected before the brakes respond. There is also a fuel pump recall that covers a wide range of Honda and Acura models built over many years: the pump can fail and stall the engine while driving.
