The 2019 Honda Fit has 7 recalls, the most serious being a front passenger seat sensor that can misread occupant status and cause the airbag to deploy incorrectly in a crash, raising the risk of injury.
The fuel system accounts for several recalls. The low-pressure fuel pump inside the tank can fail, causing the engine to stall or lose power without warning while driving. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue for all affected vehicles, which is why multiple campaigns address the same pump failure across different populations of Fits.
There is also a rearview camera issue where the camera image fails to appear when the engine is started with a key, leaving the driver with no rear view while backing up. As with the fuel pump, an earlier repair did not fully fix the problem for all vehicles, so a follow-up recall was issued to address remaining cases.
