2016 HONDA ODYSSEY Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2016 Honda Odyssey has 7 recalls, the most serious involving fuel tanks with inadequate welds that can separate and allow fuel to leak, creating a fire risk if a source of ignition is nearby. The remaining recalls all center on the second-row seating. The outboard seats can fail to latch properly if positioned between the two slide positions, allowing the seat to tip forward during hard braking. A separate issue with the outboard seats involves a fold-and-slide release lever that can remain in the unlocked position, leaving the seatback free to move in a crash. The second-row center seat has its own concern: an adjuster bar can stick in the unlocked position, allowing that seat to slide unexpectedly during a crash. There is also a recall covering vehicles equipped with Rollx QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints, where the restraint system can fail to hold a wheelchair in place during transit.
