The 2003 Honda ST1300 has 4 recalls, all rated at the same severity level, with the most prominent risks being unexpected engine stall and brake failure, either of which can cause a crash.
Two recalls involve wiring harness problems that can stall the engine without warning. In one case, a wire harness connector rubs against the fuel tank over time, eventually causing a short circuit that blows an ignition fuse and cuts engine power. In another, a ground distribution connector in the main harness is incorrectly assembled, allowing electrical circuits including the fuel pump to overheat and short, which also kills the engine mid-ride. The brake recall affects the combined-brake system: a seal inside the proportioning control valve can leak brake fluid, and if the leak goes unaddressed, the rear brake loses effectiveness and eventually stops working.
