The 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe has two recalls, the more serious affecting manual transmission models where a faulty clutch ignition lock switch can allow the engine to start without the clutch pedal depressed, causing the vehicle to lurch forward unexpectedly.
The second recall involves the front passenger seat sensor, which detects whether the seat is occupied by an adult or child and adjusts airbag deployment accordingly. Objects or debris that slide under the front passenger seat can knock loose the sensor's electrical connector when the seat is moved, disabling the system and triggering the airbag warning light on the dashboard.
