2024 Jaguar F-Pace

The 2024 Jaguar F-Pace has 4 recalls, the most serious being two separate issues that can each leave the car undrivable or catch fire: the mild-hybrid system can lose drive power without warning, and the oil filter housing can crack and spray oil onto hot engine components.

The mild-hybrid system recall covers the DC-to-DC converter, which can fail and cut power to the drivetrain, leaving the driver with no propulsion. The oil filter housing crack is a separate problem: escaping oil that contacts a hot exhaust surface or other ignition point can start an engine compartment fire.

The remaining two recalls both involve the same near-field sensor module that controls the 3D surround camera system. When that module overheats, the camera display resets and goes blank, taking the rearview image with it. This leaves the driver without rear visibility while backing up and without the full surround view used for close-quarters maneuvering. These two camera recalls describe the same underlying defect and should be understood as one issue. Note that the surround camera recall only applies to vehicles equipped with the 3D surround camera option.
