The 2020 Jaguar F-Type has 3 recalls, the most serious being a software fault that can disable both the anti-lock brakes and dynamic stability control at startup, leaving the driver without skid prevention or controlled braking for that entire drive.
A startup diagnostic check for the braking system may not finish in time, causing both systems to switch off. When this happens, warning lights in the instrument cluster will alert the driver. The remaining recall affects vehicles with 18-inch rear wheels: the tire information label on the driver's door opening lists an incorrect rear tire size, which could lead to fitting the wrong tires and affecting how the car handles.
