A loose connector on the right-side curtain airbag can prevent it from deploying in a crash, reducing side impact protection and raising the risk of ejection. On the signaling side, three separate issues affect turn signals and brake lights: the turn signal lever may fail to indicate a right turn, the automatic self-canceling feature may not cancel the signal after a turn, and on vehicles with the trailer tow option, a body control module programming error can cause the trailer's brake lights and turn signals to stop working entirely, leaving following drivers without warning that the vehicle is slowing or changing direction.
