The 2024 Kia Sorento has 4 recalls, the most serious being a power steering wiring harness that can lose contact or sustain damage from the steering shaft, causing steering assist to cut out and making the vehicle significantly harder to steer, especially at low speeds. A separate recall covers a software error in the body control module that can cause the low-beam headlights and taillights to switch off while driving, reducing the driver's ability to see the road and making the vehicle harder for others to spot.
