2015 KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure has 4 recalls, the most serious being two fuel leak issues where fuel escaping from the tank or its mounting area can reach an ignition source and start a fire. The rear suspension is covered by the remaining two recalls, which describe the same underlying problem: the rear shock absorber can leak oil from the rebound damping plug, causing the shock to lose function. When that happens, the rear suspension no longer absorbs bumps properly, which can make the motorcycle unstable and harder to control, raising the risk of a crash.
