2015 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport has 4 recalls, the most serious involving transmission wiring connections that can cause an unexpected shift to neutral, cutting drive power while the vehicle is moving. On the steering side, certain vehicles registered or sold in Canadian provinces with heavy winter road salt use may have power steering assist motor bolts that corrode and fracture, which can cause the electric steering assist to fail and make the wheel significantly harder to turn. There is also a lighting issue shared across two recalls: the license plate lamp housing can fall out, leaving the plate unlit at night and making the vehicle harder to identify by other drivers or cameras.
