2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Recalls & Complaints

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport has 6 recalls, the most serious including a cracking oil filter housing that can leak oil onto hot engine components and start a fire, and improperly bonded body panels that may not protect occupants adequately in a crash.

Two separate recalls involve loss of drive power: on mild-hybrid models, a DC-to-DC converter fault can cut drive power without warning, and a separate transmission issue can cause the clutch to drop into neutral and leave the driver without acceleration. Both raise the risk of a crash. On the exterior, panoramic sunroof side trim that is not properly secured can detach while driving and become a hazard to other road users. There is also a camera system concern where an overheating sensor module can cause the surround-view and rearview camera displays to go blank, reducing visibility when maneuvering.
