The 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Velar has 4 recalls, the most serious involving fuel rail end caps that can leak fuel vapor or liquid into the engine bay, creating a fire risk near hot engine and exhaust components.
Two recalls cover the same underlying issue with the HVAC system's air inlet door linkage, which can detach and leave the system unable to clear fog or condensation from the windshield and windows. This reduces the driver's forward and peripheral visibility, particularly in cool or humid conditions where moisture builds quickly on glass. The auto high beam system also has a software issue where the instrument cluster fails to show an indicator when high beams switch on automatically, meaning drivers may not realize they are running high beams and could blind oncoming traffic without knowing it.
