The 2011 Land Rover Range Rover has 4 recalls, the most serious being a passenger-side airbag inflator that can rupture and send metal fragments into the cabin, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
The airbag inflator issue applies to vehicles in certain geographic zones across the US, and prior repair attempts may not have fully resolved the problem for all affected vehicles, which is why multiple recall campaigns address this same defect. On the braking side, one or both flexible front brake hoses can rupture and leak brake fluid, which extends stopping distances and raises the risk of a crash.
