2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC CLASS Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC Class has 4 recalls, the most serious involving a wiring harness in the steering column that can chafe against the column adjustment and cause turn signals, the gear selector, electric power steering, or electronic stability control to fail. The rear seating row also has a concern: the seatbelt latch plate for the outboard rear seats can slip into the gap between the C-pillar and rear side paneling, making it difficult for passengers to reach and fasten the belt, which raises the risk of injury in a crash. There is also a lighting issue on certain vehicles where the LED headlamps were set to an incorrect aim during manufacturing, which can reduce road illumination and visibility for oncoming drivers.
