What can fail
The restraint belt on the lift can be inserted into its buckle without fully engaging the latch. This makes it appear secured when it isn't, allowing the lift to operate with a passenger aboard even though the belt isn't properly locked.
What the fix does
Ricon will provide a warning decal and DVD training to help operators ensure the restraint belt is fully latched before operating the lift.
