The 2018 Nissan Rogue has 4 recalls, the most serious being a folding ignition key that can collapse while driving and accidentally shut off the engine, cutting power and raising the risk of a crash.
Two recalls affect only Rogue Hybrid models. The brake booster can overheat internally and lose its power assist, which forces the driver to push the pedal much harder and extends stopping distances. A separate hybrid-only issue involves the engine control module bracket making contact with the engine wiring harness, which can blow a fuse and cause the engine to stall without warning. The fourth recall covers the rearview camera, which can fail to display an image when the vehicle is in reverse, removing the view of what is behind the vehicle while backing up.
