The 2025 Nissan Rogue has 3 recalls, the most serious involving its 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, which can suffer bearing seizure and complete engine failure, cutting drive power without warning.
Both engine-related recalls affect vehicles with the 1.5L VC-Turbo engine. Beyond the bearing seizure risk, the electronic throttle body assembly contains gears that can break and also cause a sudden loss of drive power, leaving the vehicle unable to accelerate. The third recall involves a software error that can cause the rearview camera to show a blank screen when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing what the driver can see directly behind them while backing up.
