The 1984 Pontiac Firebird has 3 recalls, the most serious involving rear brake flex hoses that can separate from their end fittings, causing brake fluid to leak out and reducing braking ability. The red push button on the seatbelt buckle can crack and break, preventing the buckle from latching or releasing properly. A buckle that won't latch means the belt can't be worn, raising the risk of injury in a sudden stop or crash.
