The 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost has 3 recalls, the most serious being two overlapping safety concerns: instrument cluster glass that can shatter in a crash sending fragments toward the driver, and seatbelt retractors that may fail to hold occupants properly during a collision.

The instrument cluster issue centers on the single-layer tempered glass panel covering the gauges, which is not robust enough to stay intact during a crash. When it breaks, sharp glass fragments can reach the driver, adding to the hazard of the collision itself. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why it appears across more than one filing. The seatbelt concern is separate: certain retractors may not lock and pull tight the way they are designed to in a crash, which reduces how well the belt restrains the occupant and raises the risk of injury from contact with the interior or steering wheel.
