The 2023 Toyota Camry has 3 recalls, the most serious being loose lug nuts that can allow a wheel to detach from the vehicle while driving, causing a loss of control and raising the risk of a crash. The remaining two recalls describe the same underlying defect and affect both standard and hybrid models: the head restraint brackets on the second-row center and right-side seats may not be properly welded, meaning a head restraint can shift or break free in a crash and fail to protect the occupant's head and neck.
