The 2023 Toyota Camry has 3 recalls, the most serious being loose lug nuts that can allow a wheel to detach from the vehicle while driving, causing a sudden loss of control.
The remaining two recalls both address the same defect and should be treated as one issue: on certain vehicles, including Camry Hybrid models, the rear seat head restraints in the second-row center and right-side positions may have brackets that were not properly welded. In a crash, those head restraints can shift or pull free from the seat entirely, leaving the occupant's head and neck without the support the restraint is designed to provide and raising the risk of injury.
