2023 VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2023 Volkswagen Atlas has two recalls, the more serious being a rear suspension bolt that can loosen and fall out, causing the trailing arm to fracture and the driver to lose control. The second recall involves the front passenger seat's occupant detection system, where a wiring fault can cause the sensor to incorrectly read the seat as empty and deactivate the front passenger airbag, leaving that occupant without airbag protection in a crash.
