At a glance
What can fail
In hot conditions, the fuel tank ventilation valve may fail to close completely, allowing liquid fuel to enter the ventilation system and saturate the carbon canister. This can cause engine jerking, warning light illumination, and fuel leaks from the evaporative system.
What the fix does
The fuel tank ventilation valve will be replaced with an improved version at no cost.
