2024 ALFA ROMEO TONALE Recalls Canada & USA – Major League Recalls
2024 ALFA ROMEO TONALE Recalls — Canada & USA
Summary
The 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale has 4 recalls, the most serious being a brake pedal failure that can leave the driver with no ability to slow or stop the vehicle.
On the visibility side, the display module may not show the rearview camera image when backing up, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle. There is also a pedestrian alert concern that affects only plug-in hybrid models: the low-speed warning siren may be missing or disconnected, meaning pedestrians nearby may not hear the vehicle approaching when it reverses.
On certain vehicles, the brake pedal could fail while braking. If this happens, you would not be able to apply the brakes.
Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-589.
Safety Risk
A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reinforce the brake pedal arm.
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet vehicles. The display module may not show the rearview camera image. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Safety Risk

Remedy
Dealers will update the software or replace the display as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning May 13, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's numbers for this recall are 13C and 38C.
