The 2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage has 3 recalls, the most serious involving an accelerator pedal arm that can fail and cut engine power, leaving the driver unable to accelerate and raising the risk of a crash.
Two other issues round out the list. The interior door unlocking mechanism can fail to release when the car has been locked from outside, potentially trapping an occupant inside. On the tire pressure monitoring side, this recall affects Coupe models only: the low tire pressure warning light may not activate until the front tires are more than 25% below the recommended pressure, meaning a driver could unknowingly continue on dangerously underinflated tires, which can overheat and fail.
