The 2013 Audi Q7 has 5 recalls, the most serious being a fuel pump flange that can crack and leak fuel, creating a fire risk if the fuel contacts an ignition source.
The other significant concern affects vehicles built with the 3.0L TDI diesel engine: a check valve can become contaminated and allow engine oil to migrate into the brake booster. Over time, this oil degrades the booster's internal diaphragm until it ruptures, stripping away power brake assist and requiring much greater pedal force to slow the vehicle. There is also a compliance recall involving an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating on the certification label, which means the vehicle could be loaded beyond its safe limit without the owner realizing it.
