Two recalls affect rear camera visibility. A software error can prevent the rearview camera image from appearing when the vehicle is in reverse, leaving the driver without the camera's view of what is behind the car. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, and a separate remedy addresses the same failure through the infotainment display system. In practical terms, both problems leave the driver backing up without the camera feed they would expect to see. The fourth recall involves the fuel level sender, a sensor that measures how much fuel remains in the tank. If the sender sticks, the gauge on the instrument cluster can show an inaccurate reading, potentially leading the driver to believe there is more fuel than there actually is. The engine can then stall unexpectedly when the tank runs dry, creating a crash risk in traffic.
