The 2025 Audi S5 has 3 recalls, all involving seat belts that may fail to restrain occupants properly in a crash.
Two of the recalls affect the front seat belts. In one, the belt webbing itself may have been damaged during production and could fail to hold an occupant in place during a crash. The other front belt recall involves the retractor's internal torsion bar, which can also be damaged from production and may break in a crash, leaving the belt unable to lock and restrain the occupant. The third recall covers the rear seat belt retractors, where the automatic locking function may not engage when a child seat is installed using the belt, meaning the child seat could move freely in a crash rather than staying secured.
