What can fail
The nuts holding the front lower control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle may be loose. If loose, the ball joint can separate from the knuckle, causing loss of vehicle control while driving.
What the fix does
The attachment nuts will be inspected and tightened to proper torque. If the ball joint has separated, both the ball joint and knuckle will be replaced.
