The 2006 Chevrolet Corvette has 2 recalls, the more serious involving the tilt and telescoping steering column, where repeated adjustment can interrupt an internal signal and cause unexpected changes in vehicle behavior that may lead to a crash. This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the optional tilt and telescoping steering column. The second recall involves the underhood electrical center housing, which can expand and bend the low beam headlight relay wire, cutting power to the low beams and reducing how well the driver can see the road ahead and how visible the car is to other drivers at night.
