The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette has 4 recalls, the most serious being a fuel spill risk during refueling where excess fuel can overflow the filler pocket and contact hot engine or exhaust components, raising the risk of a fire.
The seatbelt system is also affected: the driver and passenger seatbelt retractors can lock in the stowed position, making the belts impossible to pull out and leaving occupants unrestrained in a crash. Two recalls address the same turn signal monitoring problem, where a software error prevents the car from detecting when a rear turn signal bulb has failed. The dashboard indicator continues to flash at its normal rate rather than signaling a problem, so the driver has no way of knowing the turn signal is not visible to other drivers.
