The parking brake has a separate concern: the cables on some vehicles may be mismatched in length, meaning one rear wheel receives less braking force than the other when the parking brake is set. That imbalance can reduce the vehicle's ability to hold on a slope or incline. The third recall applies only to LeBaron Coupes and Convertibles and is a documentation correction rather than a mechanical defect: the owner's manual incorrectly states that a locked front passenger door cannot be opened from inside without first pulling up the lock control. On these vehicles, the inside door handle can open the door regardless of whether the lock is engaged, so the manual's description of how the door lock works is inaccurate.
