The 2010 Chrysler Town & Country has two recalls, both carrying fire risk: a fuel line fitting that may not be fully crimped can leak fuel near potential ignition sources, and a vent window switch in the driver's door armrest can overheat if exposed to liquid.
The fuel line issue affects only vehicles converted into wheelchair-accessible configurations by Amerivan. If fuel escapes from the loose fitting and contacts a heat or spark source, a fire can result. The vent window switch concern is separate: liquid intrusion into the switch can cause it to overheat, producing smoke or catching fire inside the door.
