The 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan has 4 recalls, the most serious being a vent window switch in the driver's door armrest that can overheat and start a fire.
Two recalls involve the airbag system. In certain side-impact collisions, the airbag on the opposite side of the vehicle from the impact can deploy unexpectedly, raising the risk of injury to occupants on that side. A separate issue affects a narrow production window of vehicles where the restraint control module has incorrect software that can cause airbags to deploy improperly or not at all in a crash. There is also a recall affecting vehicles that have been converted with Rollx-brand wheelchair restraints: the QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max securement systems can fail to hold a wheelchair in place during transit, allowing it to move and potentially injure the occupant.
