The 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan has 5 recalls, the most serious involving the automatic transmission pump, which can seize and cut hydraulic pressure, causing the vehicle to suddenly lose power while driving.
Two recalls address the windshield: on certain vehicles, the glass was installed using expired urethane primer that weakens the bond, meaning the windshield can separate from the body in a crash and raise the risk of occupant injury. On vehicles converted for wheelchair accessibility and fitted with QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max restraint systems, the wheelchair securement hardware may not hold the chair in place during transit, allowing it to shift and injure occupants. There is also a recall covering vehicles equipped with Kidde plastic-handle or push-button fire extinguishers, which may fail to discharge properly when needed.
