The 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the fuel system on 6.0L diesel models, where a chafing wire harness or faulty sensor connector can cause the fuel injection system to lose signal intermittently or permanently, potentially disrupting engine operation. The other two recalls affect specific configurations. On King Ranch and Lariat 4x4 single rear wheel models, one or more of the Goodyear Wrangler AT/S LT275/65R18 tires may carry an incorrect load range rating, meaning the tire can be overloaded beyond its actual capacity under normal use. There is also a compliance recall related to the airbag warning label: the French-language version on certain vehicles omits required text, making it more restrictive than the English version.
