2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty

The 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty has two recalls, both affecting axle integrity in ways that can cause sudden loss of control: a broken rear axle shaft can cut drive power without warning, and a parked truck with the parking brake off can roll away.

On the front end, certain trucks have axle yokes that may not be fully welded to the front axle tubes, leaving the front axle slightly out of alignment. Under hard braking, this can cause the steering wheel to pull left or right, shift in sensitivity, or jerk the vehicle into an unexpected change of direction. This recall only affects trucks with an electronic locking rear differential for the rear axle issue, while the front axle weld concern applies to certain trucks in the broader build range.
