The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E has 3 recalls, the most serious being a park system that may fail to hold the vehicle in place after shifting into park, allowing it to roll away.
When the battery charge is low, a software issue in the body control module can cause the electronic door latches to lock automatically after someone exits and closes the door, potentially trapping a person inside who cannot operate the interior release handles. There is also a mechanical concern: the front windshield wiper motor can stop working entirely, leaving the driver without wipers in rain or snow.
