The 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan has two recalls, the more serious being a rear suspension toe link that can break and cause sudden loss of vehicle stability, raising the risk of a crash.
Note that for the standard Taurus, this suspension recall only applies to vehicles with the SHO Performance Package, and vehicles previously repaired under an earlier campaign do not need a second repair. The second recall affects Police Interceptor units upfitted with a trunk-mounted auxiliary battery installed by Crown North America: the wiring connecting that battery to the vehicle's electrical system may have been misrouted or not properly secured, which can create an electrical fault risk.
