The 2019 Honda GL1800 has two recalls, both serious: the engine can stall without warning, and in one scenario the rear wheel can lock up simultaneously, sharply raising the risk of a crash. One recall involves the fuel pump, where the internal impeller can deform and cause the pump to stop delivering fuel entirely, cutting engine power while riding. The other involves a bolt on the crankshaft's primary drive gear that can break, stalling the engine and locking the rear wheel at the same time, which can cause the motorcycle to skid or lose control.
