The 2022 Honda Insight has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger seat's occupant classification sensor, which can cause the airbag to deploy unexpectedly during a crash and raise the risk of injury.
The second recall affects the automatic locking retractor on the second-row center seatbelt. That retractor can deactivate when it should stay locked, which means a child safety seat installed in that position may not be held firmly in place and can shift or come loose in a crash. The third recall covers the fuel pump, which can fail while the car is in motion and cut power to the engine without warning, leaving the driver without propulsion in traffic.
