The 2022 Honda Ridgeline has 4 recalls, with the most serious being a brake master cylinder that can separate from the brake booster, causing partial or complete loss of braking ability.
Two other recalls affect safety-critical systems. The rear suspension control arm can corrode and fail in certain states where road salt is used, which can cause the driver to lose handling or control. A separate recall covers the front passenger seat sensor, which can misread occupant presence and cause the airbag to deploy incorrectly in a crash, raising the risk of injury. On the visibility side, the rearview camera's tailgate wiring can fatigue and break over time, leaving the backup camera with no image and reducing what the driver can see when reversing.
