The 2008 Hyundai Azera has 4 recalls, the most serious being water intrusion into the ABS module that can cause an electrical short and start an engine compartment fire, even while the car is parked and off.
The wiring harness connected to the right front seat belt tension sensor can wear down over time with repeated seatbelt use, and if it fails, the front airbag may not deploy correctly in a crash. There is also a concern with the power-adjustable driver's seat on certain vehicles built between March and August 2007: the seat can shift on its own while driving, which may interfere with the driver's ability to reach the pedals or steering wheel.
