2006 HYUNDAI AZERA Recalls — Canada & USA

Recalls 2 and 3 describe the same defect. I'll treat them as one issue. The 2006 Hyundai Azera has 3 recalls, the most serious being rear suspension corrosion where road salt can eat through the rear crossmember until a control arm breaks free, causing a wheel to swing out of alignment and the driver to lose control. The other recall involves the right front passenger seatbelt's tension sensor wiring, which can wear and break over time from repeated seatbelt use. If the wiring fails, the front passenger airbag may not deploy in a crash, leaving the occupant without that protection.
