The 2026 Hyundai Palisade has 5 recalls, the most serious being a power seat defect on Limited and Calligraphy trims where the rear seats can fail to detect a person and continue moving, potentially trapping a child or adult.
A related recall covers the same power folding and tilt-and-slide seat functions, where the seats may not stop when they contact an obstruction. Both issues affect the second and third rows. On the safety equipment side, the third-row driver-side seatbelt buckle wiring can be damaged when the buckle is pulled, causing the instrument panel to show the belt as fastened when it is not, which could leave an occupant unaware they are unbelted in a crash. There is also an electrical concern affecting a wide range of Hyundai models: a software error can cause the instrument panel to go blank, taking the speedometer and warning lights with it.
