The 2026 Hyundai Palisade has 4 recalls, the most serious being a power seat defect on Limited and Calligraphy trims where rear seats can continue moving after contacting a person, potentially trapping a child or adult. The seat movement issue affects the second and third row power folding and tilt-and-slide functions, which may not detect an obstruction and fail to stop. A separate recall covers the third-row driver-side seatbelt buckle, where the internal wiring can be damaged when the buckle is pulled. This can cause the instrument panel to show that seatbelt as fastened when it is not, meaning an unbelted occupant goes unwarned in a crash. Both the power seat and seatbelt indicator issues are present across the standard and hybrid versions of this model on affected trims.
