2024 HYUNDAI PALISADE Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade has 5 recalls, the most serious involving engine valve springs that can break while driving, causing sudden loss of power and potentially punching a hole in the engine block that allows oil to leak onto hot components and start a fire. Three recalls affect occupant safety systems. Seatbelt buckles in the driver, front passenger, and second-row window seats can fail to latch, leaving those occupants unrestrained in a crash. The side curtain airbags for third-row passengers can deploy improperly, reducing protection against ejection. On vehicles equipped with dark premium suede seats, the front passenger seat sensor can fail to detect an occupant and deactivate the passenger-side airbag, so it will not deploy in a crash.
