The 2022 Jaguar E-Pace has 4 recalls, the most serious being a passenger airbag that can tear during deployment, potentially failing to cushion an occupant in a crash and releasing hot gases that can cause burns.
This airbag concern has been the subject of prior repair attempts that did not fully resolve the issue, so owners who had earlier work done may still be affected. On the powertrain side, this recall only affects mild-hybrid models: the DC-to-DC converter can fail and cut drive power without warning, leaving the vehicle unable to accelerate and raising the risk of a crash. There is also a brake warning issue where the instrument cluster may not display the brake pad wear indicator when the pads are actually worn down, leaving the driver unaware that braking performance has already degraded.
